Senior Tax Manager/Reporting And Compliance -Washington DC
TaxConnections Executive Search Division has been retained to conduct a search for a Senior Tax Manager/Reporting and Compliance. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing, overseeing, reviewing and filing federal and state tax returns and certain regulatory reports applicable to a tax-exempt financial services organization operating throughout the US. The incumbent oversees the day-to-day corporate tax function, researches, documents, communicates and resolves tax issues; and manages tax aspects of business planning projects while providing tax recommendations and opinions, as appropriate. They will also monitor and review mutual fund distribution requirements, tax-related financial statement disclosures, shareholder tax reporting, including federal and state income and excise tax filing processes.
The Senior Tax Manager/Reporting and Compliance role requires a strong understanding of financial services industry with investments and fund experience highly desirable. A minimum of ad8-15 years of experience in a public accounting firm, corporation or any combination of these environments is essential. A BS/BA in Accounting with a CPA or MST preferred.
