First thing is to get a form W9 on her. If you will pay her more then $1900 during the year, including room and board if applicable, then you must do payroll withholding of FICA taxes at a minimum and issue her a W2. These taxes are reported on and paid on your personal return via Sch H. You must also offer her the opportunity to have federal and state withholding.
