Without knowing the specific circumstances relating to your expenses it is difficult to answer your question; however, generally speaking if you were reimbursed for any of your expenses by your employer you will not be able to take a deduction. Deductions are allowed as a miscellaneous deduction and limited to 2% of your adjusted gross income. In other words the amount of your total expenses greater than 2% of your adjusted gross income will be a deduction. For auto expenses typically either a mileage rate or specific expenses are used and entertainment is limited to 50% of your expense. I suggest you speak with a CPA more specifically to your situation. IRS publication 463 may be helpful also.
