When interviewing people look for reasons why they should hire you and not to hire you. One day I would like to share all of the memorable stories of why people do not get hired for a job! There are so many odd ball situations interviewers and interviewee’s find themselves in that they are simply amazing to hear. For our intents and purposes today, these are the basics!

Top Ten Interview Mistakes

• 1. U hav typoes on your resumy! :) ( Check and recheck again).
• 2. You do not research the company and the people prior to the interview.
• 3. You do not ask enough questions about the responsibilities of the position.
• 4. You left a previous employer out of your resume because you were there a short time.
• 5. You swear or use inappropriate language during interviews.
• 6. You tell the hiring manager you are unwilling to work overtime or weekends.
• 7. You arrive late for the interview and did not call to say you are running late.
• 8. You make disparaging remarks about previous employers or colleagues.
• 9. You ask about vacation time during an interview; ask only during offer negotiations.
• 10. You should never drink during a dinner interview, no exceptions!
