The GBS, Director is responsible for overseeing all sales, use and property tax functions including compliance, audits, consulting, and strategic review activities for Siemens Operating Companies (SOC)contracted for Transactional Tax services by GSS NA. Full responsibility for operations, and provide leadership to the team in achieving all service level agreement targets.

-Provide internal reports on Key Performance Indicators and progress on initiatives to the respective SOC controllers and other SOC executives.
-Driving the execution and operation of GSS NA A&F initiatives across transactional tax service line and operating companies.
-Manage liaison between GSS NA A&F Tax and senior management in the accounting, purchasing and support key functions within the businesses.
-Develop and manage Service Level Agreements, transactional pricing models, business plans, forecasts and budgets.
-Provides effective control and compliance environment - including and not limited to SOX 404 controls, anti-corruption controls and internal Siemen’s compliance requirements.
-Develop service line roadmaps to Identify ways to further reduce cost and improve quality through technology, productivity, and scale.
-Partner with outsource suppliers to deliver agreed to service level targets, to identify areas of opportunities for process improvement and to implement solutions which reduce cost and improve quality of processing transactions.

Management of the daily activies for the transactional tax team to insure compliance for sales tax, property tax, business licenses,uncliamed property, 1042 reporting, tax consulting, and audits. Day to day supervision of tax team.
