He was the founding Partner for PwC's Tax Function Effectiveness practice - a new business having its roots in new demands imposed by the Sarbanes Oxley legislation. Mark created the concept at PwC to bring management consulting services to the Fortune 500 global business tax function. A business that has grown to annual fees ranging from $500M - $600M among all Big 4 firms.

As a Partner at both PwC and EY, Mark has held numerous leadership positions that include geographic roles having a focus ranging from regional, national and global. As a practice leader he has developed skills in the following areas:

Immediately prior to his retirement in 2020, Mark was the EY Americas Deputy Leader and East Region Leader for the Tax Technology and Transformation practice where he was a key contributor and influencer of the strategic direction of the practice. He led client engagements and was closely connected to the needs of Fortune 500 business tax functions. Over the years, Mark has delivered professional services to companies such as GM, Amazon, Microsoft, Omnicom, Transamerica
