Significant due diligence review experience on acquisitions and divestitures. Detailed experience on FAS 123(R) and FIN 48 implementations, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley 404. Responsible for all state and local income tax planning, controversy, acquisition due diligence, and reporting. Provide primary input on state income tax aspects of business acquisitions and divestitures, Sarbanes-Oxley, tax provision, and FIN 48 analysis. Involved in lobbying efforts in Oregon (single factor sales), as well as a number of economic development/state incentive initiatives involving business expansions.
