Jason Dinesen is a tax nerd, entrepreneur and teacher of continuing education courses. Jason entered the tax field in 2007, and started his own firm in 2009. He prepares tax returns for individuals and small businesses, and has recently started working in expat taxes, as he himself is now living abroad while still practicing. Jason teaches on approximately 25 different tax topics and is highly regarded as someone who can teach and help people understand complex topics, in a witty, engaging and entertaining manner.

Jason was born and raised in the state of Iowa, and his practice is licensed in Iowa. Life has taken Jason to the country of Portugal, where he personally lives while continuing to work for his firm. Jason is a licensed public accountant (LPA) in Iowa and is an enrolled agent. Prior to becoming an accountant, Jason was a radio station news director for 6 years.
