Responsible for oversight of all federal, state and Puerto Rico tax matters including income, property, sales and use, business licensing, audit defense and projecting and calculating the company's income tax rate in accordance with ASC 740. The position requires the ability to coordinate and manage our internal accounting team as well as coordinate and communicate with the external audit team, tax reviewers and the third party outsource resources utilized by the company. In addition, the position requires sound knowledge of ASC 740 requirements, federal and state tax regulations and strong research and analytical skills as well as the ability to explain complex tax matters in an understandable manner to both those who do and do not have a background in taxation.
