We are planning to sell our products in Wayfair where it is going to be B2B sales.Wayfair will purchase our products based on a wholesale price. However,we will be fulfilling the orders from Wayfair via Third Party Fulfillment Center located in the state of Michigan. Do we need to collect Sales Tax?

We need a clarification regarding Sales Tax procedure. Our company do not have physical presence in USA. Currently we are selling home textile products in USA via Amazon.com. As the nexus being created by our inventory in Amazon warehouses, we are collecting sales tax through Amazon. This is B2C sales.

As far as B2C sales via Amazon.com, we contacted the concerned state revenue department where Amazon stores our inventory and clarified doubts related nexus. However, we are not aware of sales tax procedure for B2B sales whether we need to do anything related to sales tax from our end or it will be handled by Wayfair.

Since we located in India and does not have a physical presence in US, do we need to pay federal tax in US? Your answers will really help us to understand the tax procedure in US.

Is Wayfair fulfilling the orders on your behalf? Who is warehousing the goods your company or Wayfair? Also, are you collecting payments from the customer or is it Wayfair?
