Return (!) Fica Tax refund
I obtained FICA tax refund from my employer.
I thought (wrongly) that paying FICA taxes was useless since I'm a non-resident alien.
After that the Social Security Office told me that I'm entitled to accumulate credits for social security retirement even if I'm not a resident.
But the refund canceled any credit.
Is there a way to give back the refund and gain credits again?
