I am in an LLC partnership. I continue to read about treating partners as employees, but nothing regarding partners being subcontractors. There are 3 partners, and we all do the same work as all of our contractors as contractors. However, we DO get paid a higher rate. To expand on my question, Would the extra of the higher rate constitute profit as defined by the IRS, or is everything we make regarded as profit?
