I have a client who would like to close escrow this year as opposed to next. She was going to do a 1031 exchange next year but instead would liket to close this year as she is uncertain as to whether the changes to the tax will effect her 1031 exchange. This is creating a terrible stress for the buyer as he is having diffuculty attaining a loan and closing before the end of the year. Q: Does anyone have any idea as to whether the 1031 rules are on the table to be changed next year?
