No there are no delay due to that. If your return is being delayed there is another reason and the best thing is to contact IRS and check on it. The reasons may vary depending on the kind of return done. Such as an injured spouse form included with a return will delay a return by 11 weeks...There are other things, so again contact IRS if it's been more then 3 weeks.

I don't see any delays in processing returns due to the sequester however according to an article found here: http://tinyurl.com/ctpr3v8, the IRS will face some cuts. I hope this helps.
