I have paid for a full degree program online from the International College of Metaphysical Theology studying metaphysics. Does the nature of my study discredit me from claiming educational expenses on taxes? This college is located in Washington. I am located in Michigan. Any advice is appreciated.

Enrolment at least half time at an eligible institution in a program leading to a degree would make you an eligible student for purposes of the education benefits providing you satisfy the other requirements. However, there are different types of education benefits each with its own set of requirements.
