The position of director breaks down into three distinct yet overlapping sub-parts. First, in regards to the staff of the fulfillment division, the expectation is that position has the responsibility of executing all managerial and administrative efforts within the department. Second, the position assumes the role of lead or senior attorney. This involves representation in the most complex tax controversy cases within the organization. Finally, the position dictates a role as an adviser on the senior management team (ex. lean process development and project management). The end goal is to develop an effective management loop that operates at a C-level viewpoint.

Director Responsibilities:
• Promote empirical creativity, scalability and sustainability while leading through change
• Prepare and maintain reports that track associate key performance indicators
• Align internal processes with company core values to maximize department productivity
• Assign and delegate cases in a modus that sets up each case for success
• Manage and control departmental expenditures within agreed budgets
• Review work product of the department to ensure best practices
• Manage and develop associate leadership within the department
• Network with departmental managers to facilitate organizational development
