After graduating in tax law from Leiden University in The Netherlands, joined a small tax firm, and gained extensive experience in solving tax problems. Due to the small size of the firm, was able to receive superb supervision from long time professionals. The scope of tax complexities was further broadened, when the firm merged with various other firms, to end up as part of one of the top 5 firms.

Spent several years guiding clients through complicated international tax problems, during which period knowledge of international tax law was strengthened. Creativity combined with innovation and a strong drive to get the best for the client, resulted in a flourishing practice.

Was the driving force behind a newly set up law firm. Became managing partner and directed the planning, staffing, budgeting and operations of the firm. The firm reached a turnover of Dfl. 10 million within 4 years. Strong interest in the IT business and its possibilities for the legal branch, led to implementation and supervision of IT innovations that added value to the clients, providing the firm with a head start of years within the legal business.

Was part time consultant for the financial industry, international tax consultant and part time managing director of Orli-Tech Pty. Ltd., an Australian IT company. Successfully restructured this company, developed its business model and strategy.

Successfully complete an international e-Management Executive Masters in Business Administration.
