Mr. Ryan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Texas Association of Business (TAB), the largest business association in the state, and he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Texas Taxpayers and Research Association (TTARA). He also chairs the Ryan Foundation, a non-profit that has donated $2.7 million and countless hours to such organizations as the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, United Way and the American Red Cross. He serves on the Texas Affiliate Board of Blue Cross Blue Shield; is a member of the Junior League of Dallas Community Advisory Board; serves as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation; is a Board Member of the Dallas Citizens Council, Friends of Wednesday’s Child, Habitat for Humanity's Dream Dallas; and he co-founded Texas Governor Rick Perry’s SuperPAC.
