David Hurme works as an Indirect Tax Manager for B. Hoffmann & Associates in Richmond Hill, Ontario providing indirect tax services to prominent companies in Canadian industry. Prior to joining B. Hoffmann & Associates, Dave was President of TaxLeaks Inc. located in Milton, Ontario.

Prior to founding TaxLeaks, David had worked approximately eight years for one of the premiere indirect tax recovery firms in Canada that was acquired by a competitor in 2014. During his time there he worked on a number of clients that are members of either the Fortune 500 or FP500, helping them recover millions of dollars over the years from the tax authorities while identifying potential indirect tax exposures.

Prior to entering the indirect tax industry he spent over a decade working in management roles for both private and publicly traded corporations in the manufacturing, energy and agricultural sectors.

David obtained his Chartered Accounting designation in 1994 and has four years of experience working as an external auditor.
