• March 2010 - April 2012 - Promoted to Tax Director
Responsible for the operation of the Tax Preparation Department. Supervised the department of 40 to 50 employees.
• October 2009 - March 2010 - Promoted to Assistant Director of Tax Training
Responsible for training classes for the tax prep staff. Conducted classes in Beginning Individual Income Tax, Intermediate Individual Income Tax and Business Income Tax, twice a week. Assisted the Director in the supervision of the Tax Department.

Responsible for a staff of 4, preparing exempt organization returns, Charitable Remainder Trust returns, fundraising licenses.and sales & use tax returns. I was also the point person for sales & use tax audits with the California Board of Equalization
• Feb 1989 - February 1992 - Promoted to Tax Manager
Responsible for a staff of 2, preparing exempt organization returns, Charitable remainder Trust returns and tax accounting for the trusts.
• Sept 1987 - Feb 1989 - Tax Accountant
Responsible for a staff of one. Prepared tax-exempt organization returns and Charitable remainder Trust returns. I was also responsible for organizing the department from scratch. I wrote all the department policies and procedures and hired all the staff.

• Responsible for the operation of the Southwestern Washington District. Supervised total staff of 70-80 employees, including tax preparers, reviewers, back office staff, receptionists and office managers.
• I was hired after the company created new positions for District Managers. I was responsible for setting up the District Office and hiring the staff for the district.
• During my first year, I increased number of returns prepared and gross income by 10%
• I was responsible for organizing tax classes to the public during the off-season.
• I attended all IRS audits for clients.
